Rooted in the Hudson Valley of New York and the Rio Grande Valley of Northern New Mexico, I find myself shaped by landscapes both internal and external. My story begins in the Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky, where Irish and Italian roots run deep. Childhood was made of bare feet in bluegrass, horses ridden beneath swirling clouds, woods explored with wonder, and fossils unearthed from creek beds.

I dreamed of seeing the world and making a difference. My first career was as a Teacher and Translator of Spanish and Italian, then as an advocate for immigrant communities.

Mosaic found me as a self-taught artist, glazing, firing, and breaking tiles to craft bistro tables for family. My passion deepened through Roman and Byzantine study in Ravenna, Italy, and ongoing education at the Chicago Mosaic School. Translating for Maestro Verdiano Marzi remains among my greatest honors.

In recent years, red clay sculpture has called to me—its primal origins and organic textures awakening something elemental. My creative practice has been shaped by intensive studies with Debra Fritts in Abiquiú, New Mexico, and Dana Parlier at Artscape Atelier in Ardsley, New York.

Eight years ago, a devastating neurological illness set me on a new path toward Fine Art.  I am grateful for every step of the journey and for the support of my family, friends, and artist community.

Since March 2026, I am represented by Aurelia Gallery on Canyon Road in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
