Inspired Mosaic & Sculpture
Mosaic and Sculpture captivate me for their echoes through human history, their contemplative rhythms, and their limitless possibilities.
I believe our internal landscapes are inseparable from the external places we inhabit. I am inspired to work meditatively, responding to materials, color, and light that speak the languages of emotion and spirit.
In Mosaic Art, I am drawn to minerals and metals, glass and found objects—each piece a conversation between tradition and innovation. My hands honor painstaking craftsmanship, wielding a carbide-tipped hammer and a pitched anvil called a hardie.
Through Sculpture, I begin with a block of red earthen clay, translating it through imagination and symbols of deconstruction and restoration.
Through my creative work, I seek to capture a glimpse of the light each of us holds within.
