I believe that our Internal Landscapes are shaped by the External Landscapes that we explore and inhabit.

Through Mosaic, I explore this connection using mostly natural materials like stones, minerals, and metals, as well as manmade materials like glass.  I am dedicated to painstaking traditional craftsmanship with hand tools, while employing both classical and contemporary methods.

Through Sculpture, I begin with a block of red earthen clay and translate it through my imagination, using personally significant symbols that may open a window to diverse interpretations.

Seven years ago, a neurological illness set me upon a path toward life as an Artist. The journey continues today, as I strive to transform memory, emotion, and materials into a work that speaks to me, and hopefully to those who wish to discover something authentic within themselves.​
